Singers can progress through the stages - Growth, Step-Up, and Artist Development - at their own pace and to their own desired level. There is no fixed endpoint. GROWTH – SET THE FOUNDATION IN PLACE
At Studio Cha, enrollment means more than vocal coaching; it’s a structured, immersive growth pathway designed to develop every singer’s voice, performance presence, and career-ready skills. Our Vocal & Performance Curriculum is compulsory because it delivers proven outcomes: confidence, stagecraft, discipline, and real-world exposure that can jump-start a future in a music career.
As a Studio Cha singer, you are guided in:
· Making the right song choices for your age, vocal personality and vocal goals.
· Developing your vocal technique and style.
· Looking after your vocal health.
· Expressing your song in performance.
· Participating on arts development platforms locally, nationally and globally.
· A professional on location photoshoot.
· The recording of your songs in a Music- and Vocal Recording Studio.
· Participating in a Showcase and getting exposure to different formats and stages.
· NEW! Content creation for social media – including music videos.

STEP UP – DEFINE YOUR ARTISTRY & UPSKILL
Welcome to the exciting bridge between foundational skill and professional readiness. Our Step-Up Curriculum is a transformative journey where singers are challenged to delve deep into their unique artistic identity and significantly strengthen their musical abilities. More than just an upgrade in technique, this phase is about a powerful mindset shift—beginning to see yourself not just as a singer, but as a potential artist with a career ahead. You'll learn to think differently, enjoy exploring your talent from fresh perspectives, and build the comprehensive toolkit needed to prepare for a confident entry into the music industry.
The Step-Up Curriculum includes Growth Curriculum 1 and the following focus areas:
· Skills in harmonising – singing in groups.
· Instruments - we strongly encourage every singer to learn an instrument. Why? Because it builds a deeper, more intuitive musicality and unlocks the powerful skill of self-accompaniment. To support this journey, we connect our students with a curated network of reliable and highly skilled instrumental tutors, making it seamless to add this dimension to your artistry.
· Songwriting - built for the modern artist. We guide students through advanced songwriting techniques and the ethical application of AI, using it as a supportive tool to amplify - not replace - human artistry. It's about mastering your craft in a new creative landscape.
· Visual Identity & Social Media - we take our role in shaping young artists seriously. That's why we intentionally study the latest in visual identity and social media strategy. We upskill ourselves continuously to ensure we can guide and expose our artists to the world in a way that is not only effective but also ethical, responsible, and authentically aligned.

Career – Launch a Professional Music Career
When you're ready to move from singer to releasing artist, this curriculum prepares you for the realities of the industry: creating and releasing music, engaging with an audience, and building a public presence. We provide the critical guidance needed to grow your social media platforms effectively and authentically. There is no guaranteed step-by-step recipe for success; this is a personal and professional journey. Our role is to equip you, advise you, and support you as you take this chance and allow the process to unfold.
As a Studio Cha Artist, you are guided in:
· A Brand Identity Analysis survey.
· Content development: original songs & covers.
· Recording original- and cover songs.
· Publishing and distribution.
· Gig repertoire and setlists.
· Brand and visual identity.
· Electronic Press Kit (EPK)

VOCAL REHABILITATION & THERAPY
Studio Cha refers our singers to the Pretoria Voice Clinic and collaborates with medical professionals.
For voices that have been injured or strained, Studio Cha offers specialized rehabilitation programs. We do not work in isolation; our proven methodology involves active collaboration with ENT specialists and Speech-Language Pathologists. This interdisciplinary team approach ensures every recovery plan is medically sound, carefully paced, and tailored to restore your voice to its optimal function with safety as the priority.
GROUP COACHING FOR SCHOOL PRODUCTIONS
In collaboration with ProTrax Recording Studio (based in Arcadia, Pretoria)
Designed to complement school productions, our group vocal coaching helps singers gain the confidence and technique needed to shine. We assist student groups with harmony work and fundamental vocal skills, providing expert support that lifts the burden from teachers. The result? Students enter the recording studio prepared and assured, leading to a more professional and impactful final production.
FESTIVAL & EVENT ADJUDICATION
Studio Cha's experienced coaches are available to serve as adjudicators for school arts festivals, eisteddfods, and special events. We provide expert, constructive feedback that celebrates participant achievement while offering valuable insights for artistic growth, ensuring a professional and enriching experience for all involved.
POLISHED VOCALS FOR YOUR RELEASE
From preparation to the recording booth, we ensure your vocals are release-ready. Our coaches expertly round off the vocal production for your album, single, or cover and are available for in-studio guidance during your session.
